Gregg Evan Nordgren's Obituary
Gregg Evan Nordgren passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at the age of 61 of heart failure. He was born at St. Tammany Parish Hospital on March 2, 1963.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Lori McLain Nordgren; his children, Ashley Nicole Nordgren and Amber Elyse Nordgren; his grandson, Ryley Christian Bourgeois; and his siblings, Gordon E. “Butch” Norgren Jr. (Terren), George E. Nordgren (Cinda), Geoffrey E. Nordgren (Patricia), Glenn E. Nordgren (Kim), Gretchen E. East (Ted), Grant E. Nordgren, and Gina E. Graham (Darryl). He is also loved by all his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon E. Nordgren Sr.; his mother, Sarea Ella Nell Eustis Nordgren; his mother-in-law Betty Quake McLain Hodges (Harry); his brother, Gary E. Nordgren Sr. (Sandy); sister, Gayle Ross; and brother-in-law, David Rene McLain (Mireille).
He was passionate about his work and strived to be the best. He loved traveling and going to concerts. He enjoyed spending time with family. He loved joking around and making people laugh. He was compassionate, caring and never met a stranger. Gregg was the life of the party.
