Grace Pereira Gagnet's Obituary
Grace Pereira Gagnet passed away on Saturday November 17, 2018, after a brief illness. She was born on December 16, 1960 in New Orleans, LA. She graduated from Dominican High School in New Orleans and Southeastern University in Hammond, LA. She is preceded in death by her parents George and Margaret Pereira. She is survived by her husband Charles Lawson “Chuck” Gagnet, her son’s Nicholas “Niko” Massimini (Krystal), Stuart Vint “Vinnie” Massimini, stepson Pierre Gagnet, brothers Eugene “Gene” (Patty), David (Susan), George (Natalya), sister Margaret (Jay), nieces and nephews, Catherine, Michael, Elizabeth, Kathleen, John, Nicole, Heather, and Shannon, as well as many loving relatives and friends whom she all loved and all loved her. Grace never met a stranger. She would do anything for anyone and often put others before herself. She touched so many people and made you feel like you were “home”. She was known to many as “Momma Grace”. She had a way of making you feel comfortable whether she had known you for years or only a short time. She will be greatly missed and remembered as a gracious gift that the Lord gave to all who knew her. She was an angel on earth. Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation at E J Fielding Funeral Home in Covington, LA on December 1, 2018 starting at 11:00 AM with a Memorial Service to follow at 12:00 Noon.
