Gordon Mitchell Robertson's Obituary
Gordon Mitchell Robertson passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 20, 2010 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
He was a loving father to David Robertson and Amy Robertson, father-in-law of Amanda Robertson and grandfather of Maddie and Stella Robertson. Gordon was born to Robert and Jean Robertson on February 17, 1941 in Pantucket, R.I. He was preceded in death by his siblings Robert Robertson, Barbara Little, Meg Miller, and Ruth Dowling. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Gordon had a special place in his heart for the Vasterling, McDaniel, Dietrich, and Pettavino families, who remain honored to have had Gordon in their lives.
Gordon was a proud graduate of the University of Florida and an enthusiastic supporter of the Florida Gators. He was employed by the New Orleans Fair Grounds for many years and most recently by Toledano & Herrin. He will be remembered for his humble manner, generous nature, and loving disposition. He was an inspiration to each who met him.
