Glenn "Bubba" Anthony Daigle's Obituary
Glenn “Bubba” Anthony Daigle, a cherished individual known for his kind, loving, caring, and humorous personality, left us on October 19, 2024.
Glenn was born on August 25, 1954, to Yvonne Calhoun Daigle and Claude Anthony Daigle Sr. in New Orleans, LA and was raised in Kenner, LA. Glenn graduated from East Jefferson High School in 1972. He was a resident of Mandeville, LA for the last 38 years.
One of Glenn’s most commendable accomplishments was serving our Country in the United States Marine Corps where he rose to be a Sergeant. He was very proud of his service, and especially proud that he had climbed to the top of Mount Fuji in Japan, and had participated in Operation Northern Wedding, a NATO Cold War naval military exercise in the Northern Atlantic.
After serving his country, he worked as a salesman for Acosta Sales and Marketing for over 30 years. He followed that by going to work with Mid-South Sales and Service in Mandeville, LA, a company he dearly loved.
Glenn is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Karla Daigle, his father, Claude Anthony Daigle, Sr., his sisters, Barbara Daigle Hotard (Robert), Diana Daigle Gendusa, and Tyra Daigle, also a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Yvonne Calhoun Daigle, his brothers, Claude Anthony Daigle, Jr. and Robert Paul Daigle.
In honor of his final wishes, a private service will be held at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, with military honors. As Glenn prioritized finding joy in life and sharing it with others, the family asks that you do the same in his honor.
E. J. Fielding Funeral Home has been entrusted with funeral arrangements. Please sign the guestbook at www.ejfieldingfh.com.
