I will always cherish the moments we shared at Brookdale
From the first moment I met mr Gerald I knew this was a very special person. I loved sitting and talking with him. But once I saw he had a guitar 🎸 under his bed that changed everything.. our talking turned into Jam sessions and even one time the Kitchen manager Candace walked by his room while I was playing his guitar and started singing ( Stand By Me) Mr Gerald loved it.. It was a Honor and my Pleasure to have met such a wonderful person in my Lifetime as he was. I will truly miss him. R.I.P Mr Gerald my deepest condolences to all his friends and family.. Michael Taylor (Brookdale)
My prayers go out to Mr. Gerald’s family and friends. He was one of the sweetest people I ever met. He always made me laugh and put the biggest smile on my face. It was an honor to met him and be apart of his Brookdale family. Like he always would say, “It’s time to fly.” Forever in my heart Mr. Gerald.

Mr.Jerry was our neighbor but became a loyal member of our family. He helped our first born son Robby learn to walk. He built a tractor to pedal for Robby and Sean. He spent many hours in his shop letting Robby and Sean look at things and teaching them about pin insulators and bell insulators. I still don’t know what those things are! He never ran out of patience with our children whenever we would be back at Dad and Mom’s house. He was such a beloved member of our family that we were blessed to have him as Heather’s godfather when she was baptized. After Dad’s death, he always looked out for Mom as long as she lived at the house. He was such a beloved member of our family, and he will sorely be missed. I like to imagine him now with my Dad in heaven sharing a cup of coffee as they did on so very many occasions. We pray for the repose of the soul of our beloved Mr. Jerry.
Our prayers are with the family. Mr Jerry was one of the kindest men we knew. This world will never be the same without his big heart and kind demeanor. Family gatherings were always complete with him being there. He will be truly missed. We love you Mr Jerry.
This soft spoken, kind-hearted man used to visit my grandparent’s home every evening for coffee. I loved seeing Mr. Jerry and visiting with him. My dad made sure to let him know how special he was to our family long after my grandparents passing. I’m sure grandma has a cup of coffee welcoming him home.
