Georgia Juanita Oalmann passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2011.
Beloved mother of Edgar Ernest Oalmann, Jr. (Dianna), Valerie O. Bardwell (Kenneth), Sandra Oalmann, Leah O. Hawkins, Jimmy Oalmann, Sr. (Hilda), Cynthia Oalmann, Carolyn O. Jenkins (Eric), Dennis Oalmann (Sharon), Darroll Oalmann (Edwina), Faith O. Tabor (Ralph) and George Oalmann (Jennifer); sister of Bertha Jenkins, Delores Biggers, Sue Rivett, Sharon Beall and Christina Silva. She was also survived by 35 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Edgar Ernest Oalmann, Sr.; a son, Craig Oalmann; her mother, Leah Aires Jenkins; her father, George Wally Jenkins; and four sisters, Barbara Jackson, Loyann Serio, Norma Reeves and Patricia Bordelon.
Age 78 years, she was a native of Tulsa, OK and a resident of Franklinton, LA for the past 15 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services at the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 11:00 AM.
A wake will be held at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM, with visitation resuming on Thursday at 9:00 AM.
Interment will follow in Barker McManus Cemetery.
