Georgia Boyles Canton's Obituary
Georgia Boyles Canton, at the age of 84, entered eternal rest peacefully on Tuesday, afternoon, September 20, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Swampscott, Massachusetts on January 1, 1938, to Herman Eady Sr. and Constance Lucille Eady.
She is survived by her loving children Sabrina Boyles, Hugh Boyles and Blake Boyles, and her stepdaughters Lisa Schmidt, Lynn Soileau and Julie Schultz, Georgia was the proud grandmother of Brad Boyles, Bailey Boyles, Bryce Boyles, Briana Boyles, Brennan Boyles, Sister Marie Terese Schmidt, Tori Gossen, Ken Schmidt, Dominic Schmidt, and Aaron Soileau, and devoted great grandmother of 6 great grandchildren. She was the caring sibling of Herman E. Eady, Jr., John W. Eady, Margaret E. Wintz, Theresa E. Wilkinson and Francis M. Eady. She is also survived by a host of wonderful lifelong friends.
Georgia was preceded in death by her loving husband Fabio J. Canton and grandchild, Baby Maria Schmidt.
A longtime resident of New Orleans, and proud resident of Abita Springs for over 17 years, Georgia, graduated from Co-Lin High School, in Wesson, MS and many years later, she attended the University of Mississippi in Oxford, MS..Georgia was successful and well respected as a Senior Sales Associate for Gucci in New Orleans for many years before retirement.
Georgia was loving, compassionate, and most of all a very caring person to all. She enjoyed spending time with her GPS Girlfriends. However, her true passion was spending time with her loving family. Georgia was unique and irreplaceable, well respected and liked, and will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her spirit and tender nature will remain in the many memoires of her cherished friends and family until they meet her again.
The Boyles family expresses their deepest gratitude to the outstanding care provided by Shannon Singleton, Susan Oscar, Amy Crosby and Dr. Arlette Delcham with St. Tammany Hospice.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Avenue, Covington Louisiana on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at 3:00 PM with visitation beginning at 2:00 PM until service time. Interment will take place privately at a later time.
