I have very found memories of Coach Wells . I played sports with St. Raphael Raiders back in the 70's. He was always smiling ,kind ,generous and very encouraging to all the players no matter their color. Rest in Peace Coach wells . Love ya Yoly

I am forever grateful for all of the acts of kindness that George extended to me while I was a member of the city council. Our trip to West Berlin was one of the highlights of my tenure and George's constant cheerfulness made the trip a delightful one. So sorry to hear the news. I just saw George and his lovely wife together not a month ago. I have great memories of working with George in three capacities: at Cabrini, at Municipal Court and in Football officiating. He will be missed. Our prayers go out to him, her and family. The couple will be sorely missed.
