George C. Tallant's Obituary
George C. Tallant passed away on November 23, 2009. Born May 3, 1948 to Mary Echols Tallant and the late William M. Tallant in Washington, D.C., he has been a resident of Madisonville, LA since 1997.
The beloved husband of Colleen “Kelly” Wells Tallant for 30 years, he was the loving and proud father of Chris, Casey, Brian and Patrick. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Ajay, Dylan, Will and Luke; his sister Millie; three brothers: Jim, Bill and John and many nieces and nephews.
George retired from Chrysler Financial after 37 years of loyal employment. He will be dearly missed by his faithful companion Sadie, his many friends and all that had the good fortune to know or work with him. Rest sweetly my Love.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass from the chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 12:00 Noon.
Visiting hours will begin at 10:00 AM.
Interment at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens will immediately follow services.
