When I married Peter, I hadn't had a Dad in 17 years (as my own sweet Daddy had passed when I was a young girl). The 1st year we were married I was kind of surprised to find that I had someone to send a Father's Day card to--my kind Father-in-law! George was a thoughtful, gracious and loving "Bonus Dad" to me for 39 1/2 years. And had obviously been a wonderful role model for my husband about how to be a good man. So grateful to have had him in my life all these years. He was a blessing!
