My thoughts and prayers go out to you all in the loss of our dear George. So many of us in broadcast promotion owe our success to him. I was privileged to know and work with George very early in my career. Once a New Orleans fortune teller told me, "You must always trust the white-haired man." How right he was! George's wise counsel and incredible sense of humor have guided me through many highs and lows in my TV years. I'm so fortunate to have known him and will carry him in my heart always.
We were all enriched, inspired, and just lucky to have known George. He was a mentor to me and a dear, dear friend. My prayers are with you all. Heaven will have a marketing plan now.
