Alex Iskandar Liew
I first met Geo in 1994 when he was consulting for Novocom and I was just starting out a career in digital satellite broadcasting in Malaysia. I was 27 then and Geo was a mentor of sorts to me - about work, design, promotions and most of all, life through his eyes. When the project was done, we continued to stay in touch, right up to the point when Janis broke the news to me about his Alzheimer's. Deeply saddened but we still connected through regular phone calls speaking of very current affairs, and less of our war stories together. I miss Geo. I miss his friendship every day.
