I wanted to extend my condolences to your family at this time of loss. Mr. Lewis was a patient of mine at Ochsner and previously at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in the CT department of Radiology. I have scanned him for the past 9 years at both facilities and I will miss him dearly.
My family and I will be praying for you and all who feel the loss of loosing George.

I am so sorry to hear of the death of George. I was informed of his passing and really wish I was not as far away in order to pay my respects and to meet the family. I had heard so many wonderful stories George told me when he first came to the aquarium and became the my boss in f&b. He was the best boss, friend and adoptive father I could have ever. I know our staff that we created was blessed to have him for a manager. We even loved him more for our Sunday breakfast of donuts from Joe's as he came in. I am so glad that when I visited the zoo at Christmas time I was able to see him and tell him about my life and thank him for coming into my life when I really needed a friend and support. I will miss him greatly. My prayers are with you in this time. I know that I have another angel guiding me along my path of life. I also know from experience that time will lessen the hurt you now feel and the memories will always be there. Just trust the heart to ask him a question and you will even hear his answer in your heart. Ms. Jackie I am sorry I never meet you but I know that you are such a strong and wonderful woman from our talks you will always be in my prayers. Love, Marguerite
There was always a ballgame by "Gee's" house and he was a loyal & true friend. When the family moved to Music Street and became our neighbor, my dad told me that Gee would be a great person to hang around with. I always respected my dad's opinions and in Gee's case he was 100% right. I only wish we could have seen each other more in later years.

He will always be in my heart.
Our Deepest Sympathy to the Lewis Family. George was a wonderful person to know and work with.
He was always upbeat and at the same time laid back.
Our best to his entire family. He will be missed!
I'm so sorry to read about George's passing. My prayers are with you all.
