George Martin Jones, age 74 of Covington, LA died on Saturday, October 14, 2017, at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington, LA. Born, Thursday, September 16, 1943 in Jackson, MS to Earl I. Jones and Roxie E. Barton Jones.
Survived by his Son - William M. "Bill" Jones, Daughter - Beth Ann McDermott, Daughter-in-law - Amy Jones, Son-in-law - Sean McDermott, Granddaughters - Emily Jones, Emily Babineaux, Grandsons - Garrett Jones, Sean-Bradley McDermott, Evan Babineaux, Sisters - Ada Margaret Wilbur, Gwen Credur, Sally Smith, and Ann Whitehead.
He was predeceased by Wife - Ina Garrett Jones, Father - Earl I. Jones, and Mother - Roxie E. Barton Jones.
Mr. Jones served as a FMF Corpsman in Vietnam.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 18, 2017. Visitation on Wednesday, from 9:00 AM to service time. Interment in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Covington, LA.
