George Stephen Drinkard's Obituary
George Stephen Drinkard passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 in Covington, LA. He was born on June 30, 1934 in New Orleans, LA to the late John M. Drinkard and Eleanor Williamson Drinkard.
George is survived by his brother Blanding V. Drinkard, Sr. and, sister-in-law, Clare Cooper Drinkard. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Mellie Elizabeth Williamson, his brothers, John E. Drinkard, Sr., D. Max Drinkard, Sr., and Bertram F. Drinkard. He will be greatly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, and loving friends at Heritage Manor Nursing Home.
George served as member of the U. S. Army. He was a Master Mason with Covington Lodge #188. George was an avid reader and book collector.
