George Janssen Brand Jr.'s Obituary
George J. Brand, Jr., age 89, of Ponchatoula, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. He was born on November 14, 1934, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George J. Brand, Sr. and Olga Green Brand, and a brother, Donald Brand.
He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Frances Christiana Brand; children, George Brand, III (Lori), Kathleen Keller, and John Brand. He is also survived by a sister, Carol Brand, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial mass on Friday, May 3, 2024, at 11:00 AM at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Avenue, Covington, Louisiana, with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
