I have so many great memories of Gary. He and I were roommates in college (NSU). What a great and classy guy to be around even back then! When he called me earlier this year to tell me about his cancer, he spent the last 5 minutes of the call praising God! I was on my way from Alabama to Gary's house last Friday when I got the sad news. I am a better person having known Gary! My condolences to his family and friends who also mourn his passing. Gary Callaway was very close friend and supervisor. he would sometime call us the frame riders. because the older truck we use to drive to run the route were pretty rough on the back. Gary would say that when it gets to stuff for everybody else it was just right for rick cannon and gary callaway. I will away remember the times we had together working, laughing, joking and getting the job done. deepest sympathy to the Callaway family.
Thank you paw for preparing me for life and showing how to love people ,love my family but most of all to love GOD. You are the greatest man i ever met and the most kindest loving ,patient ,humble,giving person i know. You had a great outlook on life and a great sense of humor. You were the closest thing to JESUS on this earth and you did the one thing he asked by spreading the his word and loving people. You taught for over 40 years of sunday school and a life time to others you came in contact with. You sacrificed your time and energy to love your family to show your love.
