Garrett Glynn Windham's Obituary
Garrett Glynn Windham passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2017. In his last living gesture, Garrett Windham became one of the rare individuals to provide a miracle in what could be considered a true sacrifice by donating life saving organs to those in desperate need.
He was born in Metairie, LA on Monday, July 7, 1975 to Sherry Mayer and Gary Glynn Windham and has been a resident of the Northshore since 1985. He is also survived by two beautiful children - Gavin Glynn and Lili "Flower" Marie Windham; one sister - Kelly "Ugly" Windham Dodd (Corey); his grandmother - June Voth Lambert; one uncle - Robert H. Mayer, Jr.; and two aunts - Terry Mayer Sharpe and Peggy Windham. He was the grandson of the late Glynn Windham, Robert H. and Maurva Schaefer Mayer and was God-father to Alex W. Dodd and Robert R. Whittle,
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral services at 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433.
Visiting hours on Saturday will begin at 1:00 PM.
Following the funeral, Garrett will be laid to rest in a private ceremony.
