Gail Pat Knapp's Obituary
Gail “Pat” Knapp passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024. She was born in Baton Rouge, LA on March 31, 1940.
She is survived by her loving children, Robert Nesom (Drucilla) and Tammi Scruggs (Wayne); her grandchild, Tyler Warmath (Morgan). She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful lifelong friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Helen Ainsworth Knapp and Roy Knapp and siblings, Glen “Buster” Knapp, Carole White and Linda Rupp.
She was a native of Baton Rouge, an avid LSU fan, and a resident of Covington where she was a member of First Baptist Church of Covington. Pat worked in and retired from the banking industry. She enjoyed fishing, crabbing and her dogs.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Gail may be made to the St. Tammany Humane Society.
The family wants to thank Maleakia for her loving tender care of Pat.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial services at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Avenue, Covington LA 70433 on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at 2:00 PM with visitation on Wednesday beginning at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
