Fulton Frank Chimera's Obituary
Fulton Frank Chimera passed away peacefully at Fidelis Care Home on Monday, May 22, 2017 at the age of 88. A native of New Orleans, LA. Fulton is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, June Loretta Gaspard Chimera. Father of Richard Fulton Chimera, and Renee’ C. Guillot (Randy). Grandfather of Mitchell Guillot, Mason Guillot (Rachel), and Megan Berberovich (Timothy). He is also survived by his sisters, Rita Sachitano (Tony) and Marilyn Kelly (Jerry).
He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was retired from Shell Oil Co. in Norco, LA. He was a member of the American Legion Post 16, Mandeville Seniors, AARP and Golden Opportunity. Fulton and his wife enjoyed 35 years of Square Dancing, volunteering, and many wonderful cruises.
The family is grateful to St. Tammany Parish Hospice and the group at Fidelis Home for their compassion and care.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service and prayers at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home at 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433, on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 3:00PM. Visitation will begin at 1:00PM. Interment will be private.
