Franklin Dorman Morgan's Obituary
Franklin Dorman Morgan was called home to his Lord and Savior on March 30, 2024. He was born on April 12, 1946 in Folsom, LA to the late William A. Morgan and Maidene Stevens Morgan. He was a resident of Metairie, LA for many, many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Ima Jean Mizell, Yvonne Morgan Sharp Cooper, Nelda M. Jarrell, brothers William Doyle Morgan, Kenneth A. Morgan, and Hayward L. Morgan. The Morgan Family is together again.
Frank is survived by his daughter, Sara Y. Merlos, two sisters-in-law and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Frank served our nation in the USAF - Army National Guard and was a proud Vietnam Veteran. Frank loved the outdoors. He loved fishing, hunting, bird watching, and all of God’s creation. He worked many years as an electronics technician until his retirement from Charity Hospital in New Orleans, LA.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at Savannah Branch Church of God, 11067 Hwy 1078, Folsom, LA 70437 on Friday, April 12, 2024 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 9:00 AM until service time.
