I was saddened to hear the news that Frank had passed away. My deepest condolences and sincere prayers for all of the St. Romain family. I first met Frank as a competitor and found him to be an intelligent and driven entrepreneur. Within a few years, he bought the company I was working for and through his leadership, generosity and sincere care for his employees, my life changed for the better in so many ways. In my career, I tried to emulate his leadership, and in life I have tried to emulate his generosity.

They say that the sign of a life well lived is that the world is a better place for that person having lived. In Frank's case, the world is definitely a better place.

I was so sad to hear about the passing of Frank St Romain. He was the sole reason after working for another company for 25 years, I went to work for SCP Distributors in 1998. Shortly after coming on board with SCP, Frank and I made a trip together to Tucson AZ to visit our facility there. The night before our visit the two of us had dinner together. Frank said to me " Chris...our Tucson facility should be doing better. I have my thoughts and ideas on what needs to be done, but I will keep those to myself. I did not hire you to tell you how to do things...instead I hired you to do it your way. But, always know I am here if you need me." I only worked for Frank for a year before he retired, but he taught me many valuable lessons. I certainly had regrets in my business career, but going to work for Frank was never one of them. He touched so many lives in such a positive way. My deepest symphony to the entire St Romain family.

Frank was a person if you had the chance to meet you would never forget, he went out of his way to make you feel important. He hired me as part of the South Central Pool family in 1981 many memories very grateful to have known him.

It was an honor to know Mr. Frank. He not only had an impact on an industry and a company, but his sincere and genuine desire to help all impacted everyone who met him. I will always remember as a new staff accountant having the founder and president of our company come buy at least once a week and sit my office to chat and hear about what was going on from our perspective. He always made you laugh and he always listened. I am sure others will agree that the industry, the company, we are all better for knowing Mr. Frank. Prayers for many happy memories to sustain all who loved this great man.

Frank was our dear friend. From the beginning when Jeff and Melita dated, he was so kind, warm, and friendly. Through the years we enjoyed many holidays and family occasions together.
