Frank Marion Johnson, Jr.'s Obituary
Frank Marion Johnson, Jr., age 91 of Covington, Louisiana was entrusted to God’s loving care on July 28, 2016. Frank was born on February 19, 1925 in Terre Haute, Indiana, the son of Frank Marion and Grace Elizabeth Johnson. He was united in marriage to Rosa Elmira Elliott Johnson on September 30, 1945 in Charleston, South Carolina. She preceded him in death.
He was employed at by Chevron Oil for 38 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter and son-in-law Debby and Bill Rase of Sulphur, Louisiana, his son and daughter-in-law Carl and Delaine Johnson of Covington, Louisiana and his son Bryan Johnson of Grand Junction, Colorado, four loving grandchildren and their spouses, Christi (Gregg) Browne, Billy (Britney) Rase, Delaine (Ryan) Martin and Thurston Yates, also 8 great-grandchildren, Riley, Sidney, Emily and Rase Browne, Will Rase, Emery and Aven Martin and Alex Yates.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 10:00 AM with visitation from 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow the service in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Covington, LA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org, or the St. Tammany Humane Society, www.sthumane.org/donate.
