I have being a friend of Frank's daughter Ena since high school. Anytime I was visiting with the family, Frank was always so kind and welcoming. I know he was a great husband and father. He will be missed. May his family have peace and strength.
To my dear Dad I miss you so much already. I think about calling you but you are not physically going to answer the phone. I won’t hear your voice anymore but I saved some of your voice mails. I can’t listen to them because i cried like a baby. I know it’s the last here on earth, but I know you are looking at me right now thinking “Ninetta I am in a better place now”

When I was nine years old your dad came to the US from Italy and stayed with my grandfather on Atherton Drive in Metairie Louisiana. My dad Ed Senior was going back to medical school to specialize in pediatrics at Charity Hospital so we lived there too. My grandfather Paul used to love to fish and I would go with him. One day he asked Frank to come along.. We were fishing in Lake Catherine is we always did. He finished in a 12 foot rented wooden skif. My grandfather was telling tales a giant Gar fish in the water. So I was afraid that I might fall in and be eaten by these monsters. Frank had bought this weird looking rod and reel combination with the rod and real all in one piece. It was really strange looking. I was standing up in the back of the boat Frank stood up to cast in his back cast hit me with his elbow and knocked me out of the boat. I was sure I was going to be eaten immediately by giant monster gars. When he turned around I was already back in the boat. Frank didn’t even know he knocked me out of the boat. It’s surprising what super human physical feats you can accomplish when motivated by the thought of being devoured by giant fish. It’s one of my favorite memories of Frank. My condolences and prayers go out to his family and friends RIP MR. Frank.
