Frank J Haab Jr.'s Obituary
Frank Haab passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025. He was born in New Orleans on July 23, 1940.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years; Brenda Massey Haab, his children; Tara Leonard (Chris) and Garrett Haab (Monica), his grandchildren, Collier, Haley, Mason, Lane, Sophie, Aiden, and Amelia. He is also survived by his siblings, Loraine O’ Donell and Andrew Haab, and many lifelong friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Frank Haab Sr. and Loraine Stock.
Frank was a veteran of the United States Navy where he obtained his GED while in the service. When he returned home, he went on to join the New Orleans Police Department and graduated from Loyola University with a bachelor’s degree. After retiring from the NOPD, he worked for and subsequently retired from Regions Bank. After retirement, he enjoyed a very active life with his family.
The Haab family expresses their deepest gratitude to the care provided by Dr. Jacobs, Dr. Baez, the St. Tammany Parish Fire Department and St. Tammany Parish Hospital.
A private service will be held at a later date.
