Frank Lawrence Anglada passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2008.
Beloved husband of 54 years to Barbara Adam Anglada; father of Cynthia A. Smith and her husband Brett, Elizabeth A. Deshotel, Susan A. Furlan and her husband Charles, Sharon A. Amie and her husband Joey and Barbara Ann Anglada; former father-in-law to Gary J. Deshotel; grandfather of Breton and Bristie Smith, Brandon Deshotel, Carley and Hannah Furlan and Patrick and Jonathan Amie; brother to Miriam Anglada Crowley; brother-in-law of Beverly Anglada, Enola Anglada, Eunice Anglada, Charles Adam, Jr., Joyce Cousins Adam, Patricia Adam Ansardi and Robert Zebley; and former brother-in-law of Edward Ansardi. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Anglada; mother, Augustine Beaudean Anglada Reed; step-father, Gus Reed; father-in-law Charles J. Adam, Sr.; mother-in-law, Thelma Grob Adam; sister, Delores Anglada Codina; brothers, Clifford, Norbert and Terry Anglada; brother-in-laws, Brian Crowley and Julian Codina; and former sister-in-law, Anna Kay Adam Goldstein. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
Age 81 years, a native of Empire, LA, a resident of Covington, LA for the past 3 years, he was a former resident of St. Bernard Parish for 44 years. Frank was a World War II Veteran having served in the United States Navy. He was a member of IBEW Local 130 for the past 59 years. He retired after 41 years with Frischhertz Electric Company.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, July 28, 2008 at 12:00 Noon from St. Peter Catholic Church, 125 East 19th Avenue, Covington, LA.
Visitation on Monday AT THE CHURCH will begin at 10:00 AM.
Interment will follow in St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer Mass donations.
