Francis J. Lusky's Obituary
Francis "Frank" Joseph Lusky, 86, passed away on June 6, 2007. He was born to the late Leo F. and Alpherine Bordeau Lusky in Orange, NJ and resided in Covington, LA for the past 27 years.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marie Elmire Fuxan; four children: Richard Francis Lusky, spouse Adrienne Broussard Lusky of Metairie, LA, Frances Ann Hehn, spouse J. Richard Hehn of North Carolina, Stephen Leo Lusky, spouse Jean McIntyre Lusky of California and Michael Joseph Lusky also of Metairie, LA; seven grandchildren: Briana Marie Douzart, Lauren Elizabeth Hehn, Jenna Marie Hehn, Trevor Christia Hehn, Elise Elmire Hehn, Ian Francis Lusky and Evan William Lusky and one great-granddaughter, Edelyn Rose Hehn. He is also survived by one cousin, Irene Sobieski of Schenectady, NY.
He received his BS in Business from Seton Hall University and went to George Washington Law School before becoming a Special Agent in the FBI. During World War II, he attended Harvard University as a Navy Ensign. After the War, He served in the Naval Reserve for 2 years before reentering the FBI. For the next 32 years he remained with the FBI, 27 of those years he was the acting Senior Resident Agent in Charge of the New Brunswick Field office in New Jersey. Following his departure from federal duty, he worked as the Safety & Security Chief of Ortho Pharmaceutical; he served with the Louisiana Strategic Petroleum Reserve, organized the Court Watch Program for the New Orleans Metropolitan Crime Commission and was an investigator with LA Attorney General's office before finally retiring at age 71.
Visitation for family and friends will take place at Saint Joseph Abbey,Saint Benedict, LA on Monday, June 11, 2007, at 12:30 PM followed by a Memorial Mass at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St Jude's Research Hospital, http://www.stjude.org/donate.
