Francis "Frank" Bernard Fazzio's Obituary
Frank B. Fazzio passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025. He was born in New Orleans, LA on April 22, 1942.
He is survived by his wife, Deanna Fazzio; his children, Joe Fazzio, Leslie Bird, and Mimi Fornaris (Chip); grandchildren, Kevin Bird, Chad Bird, Blake Bird, Maddie Saliba (Anthony), Jill Fornaris, Annie Fornaris; great grandchild, Sage Saliba. Step children Sheri Morris (Norman), Steven Marcus (Lori); step grandchildren Maurie Morris, Patrick Marcus, Megan Marcus, Julia Marcus. He is also survived by his sister, JoAnn Mueller.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Anne Wood Fazzio; his parents Joe Fazzio and Grace Fazzio and brother Bernard Fazzio.
A proud New Orleans native, he was known for his generosity, compassion, and unwavering dedication in every aspect of his life. Loyal, loving, and dependable, he was a pillar of strength to his family, friends, and community.
A prominent figure in Louisiana’s lumber industry, he not only built a successful career but also passed on his passion for the business to those around him. His love for golf, LSU, and Saints football was lifelong and infectious.
Adventurous by nature, he traveled the world, embracing each new experience with enthusiasm and an open heart. He approached life, work, and relationships with unmatched energy and intensity.
With a great sense of humor and a larger-than-life personality, he was the life of every party and lit up every room he entered. His charisma, spirit, and warmth will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 444 Metairie Road, Metairie, LA 70005 on Wednesday, October 1st, 2025, at 12:00 PM with visitation at church on Wednesday beginning at 10:00am, celebration of life to follow.
