Frances Macaluso Rosevally's Obituary
Frances Macaluso Rosevally passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023 at the age of 98. She was born on April 7, 1925 in New Orleans, LA to the late Charles Macaluso and Mary Desalvo Macaluso.
Frances was the beloved wife of the late William Louis Rosevally, Jr. for 78 years. She was the loving mother of Mary Ann Rosevally Frisard (Earle), Dorothy Rosevally Siverd (Emmett), Charles A. Rosevally (Darlene), Walter R. Rosevally (the late Martha), Diane Rosevally Judice (Frank), George A. Rosevally (Julie), Anthony J. Rosevally (Lisa), Lisa Rosevally, and the late William L. Rosevally, III (the late Patricia). Frances was deeply proud of her 25 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Anthony J. Macaluso. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful lifelong friends.
Frances started her working career in 1967 when she went to work as a file clerk for the State of Louisiana’s Welfare office until, in 1987 when she retired as the administrative assistant. Frances was devoted to public service. In the mid 1990 she volunteered at Cabrini High School. She would make any copies that were needed and stuffed countless envelopes to help get the mailings ready for the post office. She was a volunteer with the St. Tammany Parish Hospital Guild “Pink Ladies”. Frances was a parishioner of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. She was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 16. Upon moving to Covington in 1995, Frances took up line dancing which she truly enjoyed until the teacher retired. At any gathering, Frances was ready to turn the music on and get people on the dance floor for line dancing and fellowship. She will be dearly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Memorial Mass at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 9:00 AM until Mass time.
