Frances Combel's Obituary
On July 28, 2022, Frances Combel passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was 87 years old. Frances was born in Mississippi and has been a resident of Louisiana since 1966, after relocating from Mississippi with her husband and four children. She has always provided support and love for her family and worked tirelessly to provide opportunities for her children. Frances retired from the United States Post Office, as a mail carrier, in 1995. After retirement, she and her husband traveled for several years until they settled back down in her hometown of Goodbee, Louisiana where she lived near all four of her children and many of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Frances was predeceased by her husband, Daniel Combel, of 25 years. She is survived by her son Wayne Yates (wife Charmaine) and her daughters Brenda Wolfe, Tammye Thomas (husband Harold) and Terri Thomas (husband Jack). She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
A private service will be held at a later date.
