Frances Williams Berkeley's Obituary
Frances Williams Berkeley passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2009. She was born June 25, 1926 to the late Robert and Gertrude Williams and has been a resident of Covington for the past 35 years.
A native of Daingerfield, TX, Fran moved to New Orleans, where she married and raised two loving daughters, Barbara Link and Sandra Vasquez. She is survived by her sons-in-law, Everett Link, Jr. and Hector Vasquez; two sisters, Jo Angelo Martinez and Marjorie Buse and was adored by nine grandchildren: Laura Link, Tara Millet (Steve), Carin Wilson (Anthony), Noelle Link, Reve’ Pounds (John), Rebecca Harrison (Blake), Jeremy, Jonathan, Andrew Vasquez. She will also be deeply missed by nine great-grandchildren: Kevin Maggio, Haley Costa, Stephen, Ella, Amanda and Hannah Millet, Alex Wilson, Grant and Lindsey Harrison. She was married in this lifetime to Robert Boudreaux, the father of her children, and Russell Berkeley, both of whom precede her in death. Cooking was her passion and she delighted in BIG family gatherings when she could feed everyone.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass on Friday, January 16, 2009 at 12:30 PM from St. Peter Catholic Church, 125 East 19th Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
Visiting hours at the Church will begin at 10:30 AM.
Interment will follow mass at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Covington Food Bank, 840 N. Columbia St., Covington, LA 70433.
