Fitzhugh Lee Faust Jr.'s Obituary
Fitzhugh Lee Faust, Jr. passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021 in Hammond, LA. He was born on April 1, 1928 in Baywood, LA to the late Fitzhugh Lee Faust, Sr. and Melvina Hood Faust.
Lee was the beloved husband of the late Dora Aline Odom Faust. He was the loving father of Allison Cecile Faust Maestri (Terry), Deborah Eileen Faust Mays (Jack), Kenneth Wade Faust (Rebecca), Roy Allen Faust and the late Randall Hugh Faust. Lee was the proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was the brother of Eloise Faust Tate, the late Winnie Faust Fleniken, Velma Faust Carpenter, Amy Faust Voss, Lawson Allen “L.A.” Faust, Nell Faust Anderson, Stella Faust Goodspeed, Estelle Faust Glynn, Ann Faust McIntyre, and Lee Roy Faust.
Lee was a man of many interests. He was the owner and operator Johnny Lee Cleaners on Columbia St. in Covington, LA for almost 50 years. Lee loved the outdoors. He was a farmer and fisherman. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, bowling, and sitting with his wife drinking coffee. However, Lee was happiest when he was offering a helping hand to his wife, children, or anyone in need.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 2:30 PM with visitation from 12:30 PM until service time.
