Felicia Peyton Baas' Obituary
Felicia Peyton Baas, at the age of 21, went home to our Lord on Monday afternoon, January 1, 2024. She was born in New Orleans, LA on October 28, 2002 to Frederick James Baas Jr. and Rosemary Ard Baas.
She is survived by her loving parents Frederick and Rosemary Ard Baas, and her grandfathers Alvin Ard and Frederick Baas, Sr. and her great aunts Maureen Salayon Salas (Frank) and Angie Salayon. She is also survived by Monica Ard Zanetti - aunt (Adolfo, Sophia & Vincenzo); Stephanie King -aunt (Jill); Peter Pelas – uncle; and Lisa Baas - aunt (Wayne, Alex & Alissa). She will be dearly missed by a host of wonderful friends, whom she dearly loved.
Felicia was preceded in death by her grandmothers Connie Battistella Baas and Ophelia ‘Pia’ Salayon Pelas.
A native of St. Bernard Parish, LA, and resident of Folsom, LA for over 15 years, she graduated from Covington High School, in Covington, LA. Felicia would have received her bachelor’s degree in psychology in December from Southeastern Louisiana University.
Felicia was loving, compassionate, and most of all a very caring person to all. She enjoyed spending time with her loving family, friends, and co-workers. However, her true passion was crocheting and crafting. Felicia was unique and irreplaceable, well respected and liked, and will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her jovial spirit and tender nature will remain in the many memories of her cherished friends and family until they meet her again.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Avenue, Covington Louisiana on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 12:00 PM with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM until service time.
