Fay Ray Olsen's Obituary
Fay Ray Olsen passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the age of 79.
Loving mother of Rhonda Stonicher and the late Ronald Olsen, Jr. Mother-in-law to Robert Stonicher. Daughter of the late Myrtle Grather Ray and John Joseph Ray. Sister of John Ray, Jr. Grandmother of Brianne Giacona, Brian Nuila, Jessee Olsen, Johnny Olsen, Kristen Olsen Birtch and Kirk Stonicher. Great-grandmother of Adam Olsen, Jacob Olsen, Samantha Olsen, Lacee Birtch and Nathaniel Nuila. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to many others.
She was a native of New Orleans and a resident of the northshore since the early eighties where she was a co-founder of Rag’s Old Fashioned Po-boys.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Monday, February 2, 2015 at 11:00 AM with visitation on Monday beginning at 9:00 AM.
Interment will follow in St. Roch #2.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation in memory of Mrs. Olsen to be made to Second Harvest.
