Fay Edna Fugler Hill's Obituary
Fay Edna Fugler Hill passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2014 in Covington, LA at the age of 61. She was born on March 4, 1953 in Baton Rouge, LA to the late Sylvester Chandler and Sallie Tate Fugler.
Fay leaves behind a daughter and precious granddaughter, Madisyn Fay Miller. She will be dearly missed by her sisters, Christine Douglass-Hart (Fletcher) and Stephanie Fugler Ballard (Henry). She is also survived by her niece, Kimberly Ballard, her nephew, Henry Thomas Ballard, Jr., and her oldest and dearest friend, Peggy Langlois Kidd.
A gentle soul, Fay was a lover of nature and animals, especially horses and her beloved dog, Bookie. A free spirit, she enjoyed spending time out of doors. Fay was a friend to all and loved each person in a special and unique way.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Montpelier Baptist Church, 2241 St. Helena Ave., Montpelier, Louisiana 70422, at 11:00 AM with visitation from 10:00 AM until service time. A reception will take place immediately after the service in the church fellowship hall. Following lunch, a scattering ceremony will take place at the Edward Tate Homestead per Fay’s wishes. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Fay Edna Fugler Hill to the Building Funds of Montpelier Baptist Church or Live Oak United Methodist Church, Watson LA.
