Fannie Billie Bullock Presley's Obituary
Fannie (Billie) Bullock Presley went to be with the Lord in her Covington home Thursday, August 14, 2008. Billie as she was known to everyone was born January 16, 1923 in Covington County, Mississippi to the late Rebecca Ishee and James Monroe Bullock. She was the sister of the late Rev. John, Thomas, Luther, James and Elizabeth Bullock. Widow of Daniel Webster Parker, Jr. Mother of the late Charles Herrin wife Patricia of Valpariso, Florida; Linda Schneider husband Lynn of Covington, La.; Freddie Herrin of West Virginia; Step-mother to Patricia Blue of New Orleans; Danny Parker wife Shirley of Harahan, La; the late Jimmy Parker wife Elizabeth of Hammond, La; Ethel Barnett of Biloxi, Ms., Thelma Cosgrove, of Biloxi, Ms., Ressia Presley, of Virginia. She had 22 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. A host of nieces and nephews. Billie was a retired business owner of 36 years in New Orleans. She moved to Mandeville 12 years ago to be with her family. She was a member of Mandeville Bible Church and looked forward to attending every Sunday that she could. She enjoyed company very much and especially the Ladies Bible studies. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
There will be a funeral service at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home 2260 West 21st Ave. Covington, La. on Saturday, August 16, 2008 at 12 Noon. Visitation on Saturday beginning at 10:00 AM. Service will be officiated by Dr. Nick Greco of Mandeville Bible Church. Internment will be at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Covington, La.
