Evelyn Wright's Obituary
Evelyn Loyd Wright went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at age 82.
Beloved wife of the late George Edward Wright. Loving mother of Pamela Mayfield Ducote and Krista Wright Revere. Daughter of the late Lillie and Louis Loyd. Sister of Hazel Loyd Heck, Ruth Loyd and the late Eldon “Chubby” Loyd, Ezra Loyd and Louis “Skinny” Loyd, Jr. She is also survived by six loving grandchildren, Keri Mayfield, Kara Travers (John), Kasey Mayfield (Michelle), Brooke Shelton (Sonny), Britanee Guidry (John) and Bradee Revere (Courtney); sixteen great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was a lifelong resident of Covington and a member of Shepherd’s Care Ministries.
Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral services at Shepherd’s Care Ministries, 20115 Hwy. 1081, Covington, LA 70435 on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 11:00 AM with visitation at church on Saturday from 9:00 AM until service time.
Interment will follow in Barker-McManus Cemetery.
