Evelyn Achee Willie's Obituary
Evelyn Euleane Achee Willie passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2015 in Covington, LA. She was born on February 24, 1949 in New Orleans, LA to the late Henry Pierre Achee and Ella Bruhl Achee.
Evelyn was married to her beloved husband, A. J. Willie, Jr., for 45 years and together they had five children, Shannon W. Helton (Jeff), Monica Faye, Mike Smith, Jr. (Nanette), Matthew Willie (Stacy), and the late John Willie, III. She was the loving grandmother of Jennifer Helton, Aaron Smith, Jessica Willie, Amber Faye, Kacie Smith, Hunter Willie, Lain Smith, Bailey Koon and Avery Willie. Evelyn was the proud great-grandmother of Annabelle Smith. She was the sister of Sylvia Husser, Connie Glockner, Sharon Reid, the late Henry Pierre Achee, Joseph Emile Achee, Paul Raoul Achee, Douglas Warren Achee, and Ella Lynn Achee. She will be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Friday, June 19, 2015 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433, at 11:00 AM. A Wake will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Visitation on Friday, June 19, 20015 will be from 9:00 AM until service time.
