Sending Condolences from the Risey and Retif Family, may you Rest In Peace. 🙏
Dear Patty - I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. We missed you at the conference and learned why you weren’t with us. I hope her passing was peaceful and that you could be with her. I will keep you in my prayers.
Warm regards,
Joanne Breault
Truly sorry to hear of Mrs. Evelyn's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Kingston family. Mrs. Evelyn was a special lady. She was always so nice, and there to listen and offer advice when we were growing up while working at Buccaneer Villa Swim & Tennis Club. She will be missed, but never forgotten.
Dear Kingstons and Meyers: My parents were friends with Big Ernie and Miss Pearl from the old neighborhood. Evie was truly the Miss America of Desire St..in the greatest ward of the city. Lil' Ernie was my age and Richie was my brother's age. We all looked up to Evie for all her virtues and example. I also saw a little of her and some of you when I was pastor of St. Mark Church in Chalmette from 1975-1988.. She is now Miss everything in God's House. I remembered her at several Masses and I wish I could be with you at the funeral. Be like her and you can't go wrong. Sincerely, Father Bob Massett
Mrs Evelyn was like another mother to me as I was growing up. She was always there to help and listen. One of the most kindest and humble person I have ever known.
She truly served Christ in everything she did.
I am truly blessed for having her in my life ...growing up and onwards.
Thank you Kingston family for sharing your mom with us😘
I know when Jesus met her he said
“Well done my good and faithful servant”
I pray peace and comfort over each one of you. God bless🙏
My deepest sympathy for the family. Mrs Evelyn was a wonderful lady. Such a sweet and loving person to whom ever she met. My daughter Shannon Hedrick was a student at OLPS when she was the principle there. I am blessed to have known her and her family also through my marriage to a family friend , Johnny Hedrick. She will be greatly missed. Prayers for the family during this time of grief. But I know she is watching over all her children , grandchildren and great grandchildren and all her many students she taught throughout her long career. She is now our guardian Angel forever in our hearts. /. Susan Colletti Vinet
Your family is in our prayers. Although my daughter attended OLPS for one only year, Mrs. Kingston made us feel like we had always been part of the school’s family. Her spirit was embodied in the students, staff, and parents. Mrs. Kingston remembered my daughter long after we had left OLPS and we will always remember her. May the Lord’s peace be a comfort to you as you grieve.
Extending our heartfelt condolences to the family. Evelyn was a wonderful and lovely lady. All three of my daughters attended Our Lady of Prompt Succor School and were privileged to have her as a teacher and principal.
