Eva Glass Perrilloux Oalmann's Obituary
Eva Glass Perilloux Oalmann passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 surrounded by her family at the age of 85. Eva was born in Abita Springs, Louisiana on January 15, 1933, one of eight children, to John Henry Glass and Regina Fussell.
Mrs. Oalmann is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Oalmann; her four children, Ralph J. Perilloux III (Dorothy), Susan Perilloux Wolfe (Dicky), Terry Perilloux (Ricky) and Michael J. Perilloux. She is also survived by her two step-daughters, Terry Oalmann Rau (William) and Rochelle Oalmann Hearst (Dale).
“MawMaw Eva”, as she was lovingly called, is survived by 12 precious grandchildren, Windy P. Wells (James), Jennifer P. Huckaby (Michael), Gretchen W. Badon (Rick), Jeremy Windom (Juli), Sarah W. Pye (James), Allison W. Salter (Glenn), Michael J. Perilloux II, Michael Dustin Davis, Kelly Rau, David Rau, Justin Hearst and Kyle Hearst. She was also very proud “MawMaw” of 16 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
Eva grew up, married, raised her children and lived out the rest of her life in Madisonville. She was employed by the STPSB and worked as the Food Service Manager at Madisonville Jr. High School for 25 years. During that time, Ms Eva proudly fed, served and loved each student that passed through her cafeteria serving line each day.
Eva loved to laugh out loud, she loved to spend time with her family and she loved to serve others. She was wife, Mama, MawMaw Eva, and Ms Eva to many and she will be missed by everyone she touched.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 11:00 AM with visitation on Friday beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow in Theodore Dendinger Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mrs. Oalmann to be made to St. Tammany Parish Hospital Hospice. E.J.
