Eunice Marie Lawton Walsdorf, 98, a twenty-eight year resident of Rouquette Lodge, Mandeville, LA died on Wednesday, July 15, 2009.
Daughter of the late Joseph Robert Lawton and Marietta Felicity Marmillion Lawton. Sister of six siblings with two remaining, Raymond W. Lawton (wife, Pat) of Plano, TX and Yvonne Lawton Melancon (husband, Mike) Dawsonville, GA. Beloved wife of the late Albert Stewart Walsdorf for thirty-two years and widow for forty-four years. Loving mother of James Lawton Walsdorf (wife, Julie), Lynn Walsdorf Knoepp (husband, Louis), Charles Gordon Walsdorf (wife, Kay) and Michael Allen Walsdorf (wife, Kathleen). Aunt to eighteen nieces and nephews. Grandmother of fourteen. Great-grandmother of twenty-one and great-greatgrandmother of six.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass on Monday, July 20, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 312 Lafite St., Mandeville, LA with visitation at church from 10:00 AM until Mass time.
Interment in Metairie Cemetery will be private at a later date.
