Mrs. Jean and Robbie,
I just read in the paper about Mr. Gene's passing, I haven't thought of your family in many years. I was in the Cub Scouts with you guys until my family moved to Birmingham in the early 60's. I used to think of the old days quite often but as time moved on so did the memories. We had some fun times back then, meetings, bowling, etc and it looks like there were many more good times to come for you. I am sure Mr. Gene will be missed by all that knew him. May his spirit live on in those he inspired.

I am so thankful for the support and care given by Mr. & Mrs. Rowe to the girl and boy scouts in their care. If a great life is measured by the way we positively impact lives, then Mr.Rowe's was enormous. He truly made us feel special and helped us grow into adults of substance.
