Eugene Joseph Christoffer's Obituary
Eugene Joseph Christoffer passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at the age of 81.
Beloved husband of the late Frances Bennett Christoffer. Son of the late Elizabeth Warne Christoffer and Frederick Christoffer, Sr. Brother of the late Bernadine Christoffer Reis, Althea Christoffer, Delia Christoffer Sallean, Frederick Christoffer, Jr. and James Christoffer. Also survived and loved by many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Christoffer was a resident of St. Bernard Parish until Hurricane Katrina when afterwards he moved to Tickfaw. He was a longtime employee of D.H. Holmes and retired from Dilliard’s.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 2:00 PM with visitation on Tuesday beginning at 12:00 noon.
Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
