Estrella Rivera Gallardo's Obituary
Estrella Rivera Gallardo passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at her home in Covington, LA. She was born on Wednesday, December 27, 1944 in Pinar del Rio, Cuba and has been a resident of Louisiana since 1967.
The loving mother of six children: Leonardo, Ricardo and Gerardo Gallardo, Caridad Gallardo Faust, Lazara Gallardo Barker and Anna Gallardo Monus, she is also survived by her sister - Margarita Rivera; 18 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother - Roberto Rivera and one great grandson, Zachariah Joseph Gray.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433. Visiting hours at the funeral home will begin at 12:00 NOON. Interment at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington, LA will immediately follow services.
