Esther Jane Blackwell Tate's Obituary
Esther Jane Blackwell Tate passed away on Monday, October 19, 2015 at the age of 89.
Beloved wife of the late Milton Lockwood Tate, Sr. Loving mother of Milton Lockwood Tate, Jr. (and his wife Robin). Daughter of the late Lura and Alonzo Blackwell. Sister of Betty L. Ethridge and the late William A. Blackwell and Gilbert A. Blackwell. Grandmother of Scott, Brandon, Chad, Ashley and Danielle Tate. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at, E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 11:00 AM with visitation on Friday beginning at10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Audubon Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mrs. Tate to be made to the hospice organization of your choice.
