Ernie Ray Moore's Obituary
Ernie Ray Moore passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024. He was born in Covington, LA on May 13, 1961.
He is survived by his children, Ernie Moore, Chad Moore, Todd Moore and Adam Moore; and his grandchildren, Megan and Kiley Moore. He is also survived by his siblings, Luciel Jackson, Letha Dayle Willie, and Glenda Rogers. He was also blessed with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Moore; his parents Darlene Ruth Chaudoin Moore and Freeman Eldrew Moore.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Ernie joined his wife of 46 years, Martha, in their heavenly resting place reunited together. Ernie was a true provider and protector of his family. He loved his four boys and his wife fiercely. He worked hard and raised his boys to do the same. He cherished spending time with Megan and Kiley, his granddaughters. Ernie enjoyed yardwork, working with his hands, and many years of being a ship builder. Now he has entered his final resting place of peace.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Avenue, Covington LA 70433 on Wednesday, November13, 2024, at 2:00 PM with visitation on Wednesday beginning at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
