Ernestine Jenkins Stockstill's Obituary
Ernestine Jenkins Stockstill, known by family as "Tink" and grandchildren as "Grammie", was called home on Saturday, May 21, 2016 to be reunited with her son, Darrin Spencer and her parents, Aline Cox and Evon Jenkins after 68 years on this Earth.
Her memory is treasured by her husband of 50 years - Spencer Stockstill, daughter - Rhonda Kay and favorite son-in-law Eddie Lacroix; along with five grandchildren - Jenkins and Joshua Lacroix, Rhonda Katherine, Sophie and Griffin Stockstill. She had special relationships with sisters and brothers-in-law - Betty and Morris Rogers, Celestine and Julius Scott.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433.
A wake is scheduled to take place Monday, May 23, 2016 from 6-9:00 PM with visiting hours beginning Tuesday at 12:00 Noon.
Interment at Pilgrim Rest Cemetery in Covington, LA will immediately follow services.
The family would also like to thank Community Care Hospice for their loving care and dedication during this most difficult time.
