Ernie bounced into my office at Ch. 8 looking so handsome in his Nat'l. Guard Uniform almost 40 yrs. ago. Will remember the Nat'l Guard Helicopter ride we took together. We remained friends from that very first day at Channel 8.
Ernie was so kind, compassionate and so full of life. I've lost a wonderful friend but will remember Ernie the rest of my life.
Ernie was bigger than life-lots of fun..So glad he was part of my life. He was real and one of a kind! Comforting to know he was always there for me... "LG" as he called me.
