I met Mr Ernie several years ago and grew to respect, honor and love him. His work ethic was always above "acceptable standards" of today, even when I know many days he didn't feel up to par. Even though I'm not related, he'll always be pops" to me. I'll miss him much!

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. It has been quite some time since I have seen him, but I have known Ernie for more than 40 years. I have always known him to be such a tireless worker and to always be so supportive of his children. He took a lot of pride in his work and they just don't make craftsmen like that anymore. He was a good, simple and honest man, who was known and liked by many. I know that you will miss him very much but I hope your memories will make these hard times easier for all of you. I am sorry that I can not attend the services as I have prior work commitments, but I will be thinking of you. My deepest sympathy.

Although custom cabinet making was Daddy's passion, he could build an entire house without the benefit of blueprints. He knew no boundaries when it came to building things. Daddy was a kind, caring person and his legacy will live on through his children. Rest in peace, Daddy. We got this now! Love you, Missie
He was "Bud" to everyone in the family ... His dad gave him that nickname when he was just a little boy, and it stuck, at least within the family. One of the very good guys ... my thought and prayers are with his children ... He will be sorely missed by all ... Rest in Eternal Peace, Bud ...
