It is with regret we acknowledge the passing of our dear friend Ernest V. Richards IV. We wish to express our deepest sympathy to his family, especially his devoted wife,Jody, three sons he was so proud of, cherished grandchildren and loving sister. E V ,was an outstanding person. He was a close friend who will be sadly missed. He was a courageous individual who turned every country road into an interstate. Rest in well earned peace.

Long time friends
I had cases before Judge Richards. He was one of the best, most knowledgeable Judges I ever was before. Off the bench he was friendly to all as well. I missed him when he retired. I miss him now. His family must be proud. Best to the family. We will keep him in our prayers.
Uncle Ernest was one of the most loving and caring men I have ever met in my life. I married into this family and loved him from the moment I met him. Uncle E and Aunt Jody were so good to me and my family and I will never ever forget the moments shared with them in their home in Covington. Aunt Jody, James, Foreman and Thomas, I know this is a very hard time to get through but please know you all and your families are in our thoughts and prayers. We are here for you all through this difficult time. We love you all, Hollis and Janet, as well as Blake, Mary Jane, Hunter and Mary Ellison.
