I am glad my last words to you were "Brother I ain't got nothin but love for you" and you grunted. As I walked out of the room I came back in and said "Hey you know I Love You" your answer was "Yeah I know love you too". Love and miss you but will never forget and will see you one day. My cousin EJ is in a much better place today. I am thankful he chose God in later life. I am thankful God chose us to be blood kin. He was always an adventurous, active, and fun loving man to me. Laughter w him was inevitable and infectious.
He reminded me of my Uncle Herbie in so many ways. As family men, EJ and Uncle Herbie , were quick to encourage and involve others in their happiness. Whether it was a new trick horse, the latest new motorcycle, a fancy new or old car or a trip to foreign places like New Orleans or New Mexico they both wanted you to enjoy life WITH THEM.
Cathy, I pray for God's peace and comfort in the coming days. Thank you for sharing EJ and your adventures with us. His memory will be with us for a lifetime.
